Shadow The hedgehog 2011

Very cat-like in my opinion, with the pointy ears and thin eyes, which I adore. The fingers are prettily done with long-like textures and good quality shading. The muzzle and the inside of the ears are the perfect color because of the fact he has a dark personality and a dark coloring scheme. The rings are just a little too flat for some people's tastes but I find quite suiting... not only that I draw him with flat rings so I find that quite the reliever. I noticed the stripe on top of his head is angled at the sides, but I like that better than the original design from SEGA. Not only is he cat-like, but very spider-like too, with his longer-than-your-usual-hedgehog fingers and tail, and long yet elegant quills/hair. The new shoes are amazing in my opinion and scream "Back off." and seem easier to draw. But I see a few flaws. His eyes are a very pixel-y and I don't see any real shading on the rest of his body. His shoes are the only thing here that stands out with the shading, while the rest definitely needs some shade work. Because of the Sonic art style, he needs a little white shine in his eyes. And not to mention that his read stripes look painted, not natural. His expression is blank while he normally feels remorse and such along those lines. His ears are too thin and needs to be somewhere NOT close to the sides of his head. Other than those flaws, good work. He also looks very doll-like. You really need to show this to SEGA.
